MCSU moved their base of operation to the Hazel Park Police Department and volunteers were assigned to watching local party stores to prevent hold ups, beer runs and other associated problems of the era.
The role of MCSU expanded to working city events such as the Memorial Parade and Green Acres Carnival.
MCSU has earned the trust of Hazel Park Fire Department and can be activated to assist in fire emergencies, downed wires, traffic accidents etc. We also upgraded to professional communication system and became a registered 501c(3) charity.
